What is Podcasting?

The word podcasting is derived from iPod and broadcasting.

The important feature of a podcast is that it is a broadcast from your computer to anybody who is inclined to receive it. All the listener needs to do is copy and paste the web address of the broadcaster into iTunes a free piece of software from Apple Their computer will then pick up the latest broadcast whenever it goes online. There are other free readers such as Juice, Google Reader and Omea
