Logo Fun: ‘Arty Maths’
January 22, 2009 at 10:33 am | In Logo | 1 CommentWe have been learning to use the Logo language to create spiral patterns. First we had to work out the angle of turn to create regular shapes e.g. a regular Octogon. Then we created a procedure to instantly create this shape.

We used the grouping facility to create individual elements from multiple elements.

January 16, 2009 at 1:53 pm | In Animation | Leave a CommentFound a lovely site for simple animations called Elastoplaststories sponsored by the Elastoplast Company. This animation was created by Zach in Y1 (with teacher scribing). The story boards can be printed out and used in literacy lessons etc.
